FAISALABAD Aug 27: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) on Wednesday commemorated 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal (Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi) with immense religious devotion, marked by a large gathering at the University Central Mosque. The spiritual program began in the morning with Quran Khawani followed by the recitation of Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool, Bayan on Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) where scholars shed light on the life, and teachings of the Last and Final Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), highlighting his message of peace, compassion, tolerance and unity. The event was attended by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali, all deans directors, faculty members and a large number of students attended In his message, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali called for following in the footprints of the Last and Final Prophet (PBUH) that is the guarantee of a successful life in this world and hereafter. He said that the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) provides us solution to all problems facing the people. The Vice Chancellor urged students, faculty, and administrative staff to adopt the golden principles of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in their daily lives Prominent university structures, including the main administration block and historical buildings on the Old Campus, were decorated with special Seerat banners. The proceedings culminated with a special Dua for the progress and prosperity of the country and the Muslim Ummah, after which traditional sweets were distrusted among the participants. Furthermore, the Department of Library also arranged a Digital Book Exhibition on Seerat Un Nabi (PBUH).
