The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and Faizan Global Relief Foundation (FGRF) have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to promote environmental sustainability through a structured tree plantation initiative under the Green Pakistan Campaign.

FAISALABAD Sep 20: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and Faizan Global Relief Foundation (FGRF) have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to promote environmental sustainability through a structured tree plantation initiative under the Green Pakistan Campaign. The LoI was signed by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali and FGRF Vice Chancellor Dr Danish Iqbal Godil in the presence of their focal persons, Prof Dr Shoukat Ali and Muhammad Faisal Majeed. Prof Dr Waseem Akram, Director Students Affairs; Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Rana, Director External Linkages, UAF, and Mr Muhammad Saleem Raza, Divisional Head Faisalabad, FGRF, were also present . The collaboration envisages joint efforts for tree plantation and environmental awareness, with both organisations agreeing to work in a spirit of cooperation, transparency and mutual respect. The initiative will also include training sessions, seminars and other activities for UAF students, including programmes focusing on morality, ethics and character building. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali said that collaborative initiatives aimed at environmental sustainability and character building among students would contribute to creating a responsible and environmentally conscious generation. .
