Research Areas: rea of my research interest is pharmaceutical and natural product chemistry. Recently my research group is actively involved in the formulation of nanosuspensions and micro- emulsions of herbal extracts as efficient drug delivery systems for improve antioxidant, cardioprotective and hypertension potential. Chemical and biochemical characterization of formulated nanosuspension have also been performed. I have developed animal models for evaluation of biofunctionalities of important medicinal plants and to see the cytotoxic and side effects of plants if any. I have also explored the synergetic therapeutic potential of many plants. My post graduate students have explored the ACE inhibition potential of many medicinal plants. I extracted various secondary metabolites and characterized their structures through LC-Ms and check the actual bioactive component responsible for ACE inhibition potential.
